Bets have been crashing lately and instead of withdrawing the money from my account I have been placing futures with all of the winnings, in hopes for more winnings down the road. I feel pretty good about all of them, and was upset that I didn’t do any last year. I know that come April and May I’ll be happy I had done these so early and hope I can get in a yearly routine of this. So far I’ve found it makes long term sports watching more enjoyable, especially when these teams get where I want them to be, it will be satisfying having them potentially win at way higher odds. As of February 8th I have futures placed on six NBA teams, four NHL teams, six NCAAB teams and one NFL player and they are in order of my confidence in them. I would only place futures on teams I would want to win as well. Regardless of the money, if any of the teams listed below won, I would be a happy sports fan, as I could find something to honestly root for in each of these teams, wether I think they are cool or even just a single player.

NBA

Denver Nuggets – 390 – Tied for first in the league, I love how this team is playing. Jokic is due for a playoff run of his own and he’s got a better supporting cast then ever. I love how Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr have been playing this year. I think those two keys are the key to a deep run because Jokic is gonna get his and I honestly don’t think the west looks that great at all right now.

Milwaukee Bucks – 320 – It’s only a matter of time before Giannis gets another one. Could be this year, could be next year, could be the year following although I definitely wouldn’t mind for it to be this year. Giannis is just a monster in the playoffs. The whole team just shoots the ball and plays defense so fucking well. I hope they can make another run because I definitely wouldn’t mind rooting for them.

Philadelphia 76ers – 255 – For the sake of this bet, I hope Jokic wins the regular season MVP award. It would be his third time beating out Embiid for the award and I think if this is the case, Embiid is going to be fucking nuts in the playoffs. They also have a great cast, fuck the Harden haters I would absolutley love to see the beard get a ring. I just really hope Jokic wins MVP and then I could see Joel Embiid just ripping everyone a new one afterwards.

Dallas Mavericks – 460 – I got this before the Kyrie trade at 24 to 1, they are currently 13 to. I love the kyrie trade so much and I’m pretty confident everything will stay intact off the court. Doncic fucking got them to the WCF alone last year and now with Kyrie Id like to see them make it even farther. I hope they play well together. Come playoff time, this will be my favorite future to root for, it cashes the most and I just love Luka and really hope he gets one sooner than later.

Brooklyn Nets – 447 – Yeah I don’t know I would love to see KD get one on his own. I made this when they were third in the east and had Kyrie Irving. You could say I’m really happy with this bet, if they won it would really cash nice, but at the end of the day I just dont think there is a better team then the Celtics, bucks or 76ers.

Los Angeles Lakers – 250 – Made this bet hoping they’d land Kyrie… they didn’t. I just want Bron to get another one so Damn bad but there really is no hope at the moment. Id like for them to get D’angelo Russell just to see how they would rock with him. No matter what Bron and AD are dangerous but they really got absolutely no one around them and its depressing.

NHL

Edmonton Oilers – 450 – You have the best two players in the NHL. The best player to ever put on skates. WHEN IS IT TIME? Its Mcdavid’s year, the time is now and he is going to hand me my money. They are currently fourth in the division but I dont give a fuck. I love this bet so much I can’t wait to root for the oilers come playoff time.

Tampa Bay Lightning – 240 – I mean they have the same team that’s been to three straight finals. They were 12 to 1. I found that to be amazing value? Stamkos, Kucherov, Point, Hedmen and Vasilevsky? I don’t care where they are right now; they’ve been on airplane mode every regular season since 2017. They crank it up in the playoffs and are the most experienced team in the NHL.

Toronto Maple Leafs – 400 – What is there to say. They look great?

Seattle Kraken – 400 – An old guy at the vic told me to watch out for the kraken, they are gonna win the cup, at the time they were 40 to 1 and first in their division? It didn’t make sense so I had to hop on it as soon as possible. As of right now they are 24 to 1 and a game behind first in their division. They seem to be a really deep team and why the fuck would I not want to root for the kraken come playoff time.


NCAAB

Houston (2) – 336 – Houston is just hard as fuck. Deep runs the past two years and they play so fucking hard I hope they get it this year and want to be rooting for them.

Purdue (1) – 286 – Zach Edey is just a monster, there will be maybe a handful of guys in the tournament who could guard him and Im taking him in those matchups everytime.

Texas (5) – 232 – Feels like Texas is due for a legit run. I know they had the best recruiting class two years ago maybe. This team wins big games and that’s what matters most.

Tennessee (6) – 150 – Is it just me or does Tennessee really show up big every March?. I love those checkered overalls.

Arkansas – 145 – I got a hard razorbacks shirt and two potential top 15 NBA picks. Yeah that seems like enough for me to put a future on them.

UNC – 300 – I made this one at the beginning of the year when I heard the starting five that made it to the finals last year was returning. Yeah.. what a joke that turned out to be, Ill be surprised if they get in the tournament.


NFL

Mahomes MVP – 180 – Pretty much Cashed. During week 14 he was the second favorite after hurts and he was +180. I thought there’s no way Hurts finishes the season stronger than Pat and he didn’t. Jalen ended up getting hurt and Pat maintained his numbers. Thanks for coming.

Boston Parlay

Bruins and Celtics – 878 – So yeah, at the time of placing this bet, both of the Boston teams were a few games ahead of the second place team in each of their own leagues. I thought why the fuck not. I thought they’re either both gonna do it, or neither of them are gonna do it. Why not parlay them together? They both alone don’t provide great value, so I threw them together. Look both of these teams are fucking nasty I dont need to go on about that, but if this cashes, Im going to Boston for a fucking trip. I will be going so fucking hard for the second one, if the first league to finish comes through first.
